You can change up some of the card ratios like having 4 Blockade instead of 3 or even 4 Executioner. Tejas can be used to attack the boosters. Use Berserk Dragon's ability when you can instead of Kimnara, saves you from losing a unit. You can have Heatnail at 1 because you can easily search for it using Conroe. Aermo can also be replaced with another Heatnail for more consistency. Gattling Claw is used to take out annoying starter units like Wingal Brave and Spring Breeze Messenger or just basic grade 0 boosters.
Hm interesting im going to try it out with proxy ^^
ReplyDeleteI assume you mean flame of Hope Aremo and not promise as promise only extra boost a vanguard with overlord in its name?
ReplyDeleteYes, I fixed it now. Thanks for noticing and pointing it out! ^^
DeleteHow often do you get gradestuck with only 6 grade 3 units?
ReplyDeleteNot as frequent as you would think. Mis-rides happens from time to time. Having less grade 3 would decrease your chances of riding but you get more total shield power in a deck. The important part is that you get to ride your main grade 3.
DeleteDo you think this deck can do well versus DOTE in the English meta?
ReplyDeleteYes, the strong part for this deck is that it focuses on retiring boosters, which will weaken opposing attacks. At the same time, it decreases their defenses by sealing their intercept. As long as you know which unit to retire and how to defend against the opponent, you should not have a problem against any decks.

ReplyDeleteTested with 3 blockades as main VG and 4 overlords as they are 11k rg beaters as well as backup vanguard, also the rg skill comboes rly well with blockades and forces more guard... and it really suck having to ride dragonic executioner. Also I use 4 Heatnail and 3 Kimnaras for heavy retire. 6 Draw 6 Crit... draws are mandatory to fill up your own boosters after losing them due to heatnail or kimnaras skill. So far it works like charm! I am not running tejas as the deck is already retire-heavy with heatnails/kimnaras and he just makes awkard low columns while hitting the front row.
ReplyDeleteMy build:
Grade 3 (7)
Seal Dragon Blockade -3
Dragonic Overlord -4
Grade 2 (11)
Berserk Dragon -3 (considering throwin in 1 more)
Bellicosty Dragon -4
Dragon Knight, Nehalem -4
Grade 1 (15)
Demonic Dragon Mage, Kimnara -3
Embodiment of Armor, Bahr -4
Wyvern Guard, Barri -3
Heatnail Salamander -4
Flame of Hope, Aermo -1
Grade 0 (17)
Lizard Soldier, Conroe -1
Blue Ray Dracokid -2 (Critical)
Embodiment of Spear, Tahr -2 (Critical)
Rakshasa -2 (Critical)
Monica -2 (Draw)
Gattling Claw Dragon -4 (Draw)
Dragon Monk, Genjo -4 (Heal)
Pretty cool deck but I don't really like to play Overlord with Blockade because you don't really have to take out the front row for Blockade. But I am glad that you found a working deck =)
